We are a grassroots organisation with over 10 years of experience supporting vulnerable South Asian women and children in the West Midlands.
We have experience in delivering intensive holistic one-to-one support to survivors of Domestic Abuse, Child Sexual Exploitation and Honour Based Abuse. We provide life-saving emergency accommodation as the first step in emerging from unsafe situations.
Domestic Abuse can take many forms including physical, psychological (emotional), sexual or financial abuse that takes place within an intimate or family-type relationship and usually forms a pattern of coercive and controlling behaviour.
As a by and for support provider, we are fully aware of the additional barriers faced by BAME victims of abuse when they decide to leave an abusive relationship. We have and will continue to feed into local and national policies from statutory partners in order to strengthen support available for victims of abuse.
