All of our advice and services are confidential. We will not let anyone know that you have reached out to us, and the location of our emergency accommodation is also 100% confidential.
However, in the event that we feel that you or your children's lives are in immediate danger, we will need to contact emergency services to ensure your safety.
Our accommodation is of a high standard with good quality fully-furnished rooms with each containing beds with orthopaedic mattresses, wardrobes, a fridge, and cots supplied if needed. The accommodation has laminate flooring throughout, modern kitchen facilities, access to washing equipment and a garden area to ensure our service users are able to recover from one of the most traumatic periods of their lives in a nice environment with support.

As a specialist South Asian support provider, all of our staff are able to converse in English, Punjabi, Hindi and Urdu. We are a provider of emergency accommodation within the West Midlands, and we specialise in supporting women and children.
When you come to the Refuge, our in-house trained Support Workers will put a custom Support and Safety Plan together to help you get back on your feet. We provide advice and guidance around topics, such as: mental health support, training and education, long-term accommodation, handling your finances and many more.

Yes, if you are eligible for benefits then you are still able to stay at our Refuge.
If you are here on a spousal visa and married to a British Citizen and experiencing domestic abuse, you may be eligible for a Destitute due to Domestic Violence (DDV) concession.
If you are eligible for a DDV concession, we will work with our partnered solicitors who will be able to assist you with your application whilst you are residing at our Refuge. We can also help you to submit an application for Benefits once the first stage of your application is complete. This usually takes around a week.
No, your children will not be taken off you. Our Refuge has family rooms (and cots for babies) and your children can stay with you.
When you come to the Refuge, we will identify spaces in local schools for your children so they can continue with their education whilst you are staying with us.
When you come to the Refuge, we will help you to register with a local GP Practice so you can still access all of your required health services.
